XING TalentManager starts at 366 € per recruiter per month on the Core plan, rising to 474 € on Pro, with the Ultimate tier priced individually — current as of September 2026, according to XING's own pricing page and OMR's TalentManager pricing overview. Both published tiers run on a one- to two-year contract that is standard for DACH sourcing tools, and the annual rate works out to almost exactly the same monthly cost as paying month to month — the discount you get for signing longer isn't in the price.
XING TalentManager's three plans, in full
XING sells three tiers, each licensed per recruiter seat.
| Plan | Price (billed monthly) | Annual contract | What's included |
|---|---|---|---|
| Core | 366 €/seat/month | 4,390 €/year | Basic candidate sourcing within the XING network, candidate management, saved searches with automatic alerts |
| Pro | 474 €/seat/month | 5,690 €/year | Everything in Core, plus automated candidate-routing workflows and extended reporting |
| Ultimate | Custom | Custom | Enterprise scale, API access, roadmap AI features (no fixed date announced) |
Look closely at the two published numbers and something stands out: 4,390 € divided by twelve months is 365.83 €, essentially identical to the 366 € monthly rate. The same holds for Pro (5,690 € ÷ 12 = 474.17 €). Signing the one- to two-year contract doesn't buy a meaningfully lower price here — it buys XING a locked-in customer, and buys you a 14-day trial period to decide before that lock-in starts.
What the plan price doesn't cover
- Cross-platform outreach. Messaging inside TalentManager only works within XING's own network — there's no native way to run a bulk, multi-channel outreach sequence the way LinkedIn or a dedicated sequencing tool does. Anything beyond single messages needs a Zapier or IFTTT workaround, and even that integration is described as limited.
- Broad ATS integration. TalentManager connects to 10–15 systems, mostly German-language platforms such as Personio. If your agency runs a different ATS, candidate data doesn't flow automatically, and TalentManager itself is candidate management, not a full ATS replacement.
- Volume discounts you have to ask for. Buyer-side pricing research points to a seat discount for larger teams — roughly 250–300 €/seat/month for 10 or more seats — but XING doesn't publish the exact thresholds. Get the number in writing before you budget around it.
- AI sourcing. Core and Pro run on keyword and filter-based search, not natural-language matching. XING lists AI features on its roadmap for 2026/2027, without specifics on scope or plan tier.
What 5 and 15 recruiters really pay
A team of 5, on Core
Billed monthly, 5 recruiters × 366 € comes to 1,830 €/month, or 21,960 €/year. Signing the annual contract instead brings the total to 5 × 4,390 € = 21,950 €/year — a difference of 10 €, which confirms there's no real annual discount at this tier. If the team needs Pro's automation and reporting, the annual bill is 5 × 5,690 € = 28,450 €/year.
A team of 15, on Core
At the published list price, 15 recruiters cost 15 × 366 € = 5,490 €/month, or 65,850 €/year. If the reported 10+-seat discount applies at the lower end of its range (around 250 €/seat), the real annual cost could land closer to 45,000 €; at the upper end (300 €/seat), around 54,000 €. Neither number is confirmed publicly — a team this size should get a written quote before committing to the multi-year contract that comes with it.
Is XING TalentManager worth it?
The honest answer starts with how little independent evidence exists: OMR lists exactly one review for TalentManager, rated 3.5/5 as of September 2026 — not enough to call a trend either way (more on that in our full review breakdown). That one reviewer liked the efficient candidate search across multiple keywords and filters, and the ability to save searches with automatic notifications. The same review also flagged a "declining user base as candidates increasingly migrate to LinkedIn," inconsistent search result quality on later result pages, and XING-exclusive messaging as a liability for any agency doing multichannel outreach.
For a DACH agency that recruits white-collar roles in conservative, regulated industries — banking, insurance, established industrial firms — and is comfortable with a German-language tool tied to XING's own network, TalentManager can still do the job. For an agency that wants AI-assisted matching, candidates outside DACH, or the flexibility to cancel on short notice, the 1–2-year contract and the lack of KI features make it a harder recommendation.
A cheaper way to the same job
Sprad: pay per seat, then only for what happens
Sprad charges 59 € per recruiter per month for the ATS and the agency's own talent pool — a genuine ATS, not the candidate-management layer TalentManager offers — plus a requirement search across more than a billion external profiles, billed by credit only when it's actually used. A 5-recruiter team pays 295 €/month as its base (3,540 €/year) before any usage, against XING Core's 21,960 €/year for a narrower feature set. A 15-recruiter team pays 885 €/month (10,620 €/year) as its base.
On top, usage is metered, not licensed: an external search that returns, say, 15 candidates who pass Sprad's screening costs 15 × 2 = 30 credits (roughly 1.80–2.40 €, at 6–8 cents per credit); a full application review is 3 credits (about 0.18–0.24 €); a 5-minute voice interview is 30 credits (about 1.80–2.40 €). Every account starts with 200 free credits every month, no credit card required, so a team can test a real workflow before spending anything. Two more options worth a look
Talentwunder is the closer match in spirit — also DACH-based, also GDPR-first, with automatic job-ad publishing across 900+ portals as its standout feature (see our Talentwunder pricing breakdown). But it doesn't publish a current price at all (older estimates put it near 390 €/month) and locks agencies in for 24 months, twice XING's typical term. LinkedIn Recruiter Lite costs 140 USD (about 129 €) per seat per month and reaches candidates well beyond DACH, but it also requires an annual contract and, per our LinkedIn Recruiter pricing analysis, offers essentially no candidate data export after cancellation.
FAQ
How much does XING TalentManager cost per recruiter?
366 € per seat per month on the Core plan, 474 € on Pro, both as of September 2026. Ultimate is quoted individually.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, a 14-day trial, before the typical one- to two-year contract begins.
How long is the minimum contract?
Typically one to two years, which is standard for DACH sourcing tools but longer than most global alternatives billed monthly.
Does XING TalentManager replace an ATS?
No. It's a candidate-search and candidate-management layer with limited integration into 10–15 mostly German-language ATS systems, not a full applicant tracking system on its own.
What's the cheapest real alternative to XING TalentManager?
Sprad's 59 €/month base plus usage-based credits comes out far below XING's Core contract for equivalent or broader functionality — see the full alternatives comparison for six more options.
Does XING TalentManager offer AI sourcing?
Only minimally today. AI features are listed on the roadmap for 2026/2027 without confirmed scope or release date.
The bigger question behind the seat price
A per-seat license only tells you what you pay while the contract runs. Cancel XING TalentManager after your one- or two-year term, and the candidates you built inside it stay largely locked to XING's platform — exports are limited to public XING fields, and private profile data isn't portable at all. Sprad is built around the opposite premise: your network becomes a talent pool that belongs to your agency, searchable alongside more than a billion external profiles in the same workspace as your ATS, screening and voice interviews — starting with 200 free credits a month and no credit card. See what that looks like for your team at sprad.io/industry/recruitment-agencies.
