Who this is for

One word, four problems.

01

SHK & building services

Journeyman's certificate, emergency-duty readiness, earliest start given how scarce the trade is.

02

Construction & finishing trades

Height clearance for roof and scaffold work, travel readiness for multi-day site work.

03

Electrical & metalworking

Trade certificate, driving licence for the van and trailer, safety-briefing language level.

04

Apprentices & career changers

More than a third of trade apprenticeships end early — a structured conversation catches mismatch before day one, not after.

Shortage market

Your form doesn't fit them.

A vacancy that used to sit open three months now sits open seven. The people who do exist apply by smartphone — often without a cover letter, sometimes without a CV at all.

Applications0

Nobody applies

The inbox stays empty — reach was the problem, not the ranking.

The vacancy just ages

Every week it stays open makes the shortage more expensive.

Your form does the filtering

CV, cover letter, account — three walls before anyone talks.

In the conversation

Cleared without a CV.

  • Journeyman's certificate (Gesellenbrief) or master craftsman qualification
  • Driving licence B, with BE/C1E where a trailer is involved
  • Height clearance (G41) for roof, scaffold or facade work
  • Readiness for multi-day site work with overnight stays
  • Emergency-duty availability for SHK roles
  • Work permit and residence status
  • German level sufficient for safety briefings on site

Synced to your ATS

How it runs

From the posting to the pool.

Step 01

The role goes live

In your ATS. We bring a lean one along, but most teams keep their own — career page, job boards and QR code all run off the same posting.

Step 02

Your own people get asked first

The opening goes automatically to the employees it fits. One tip, one link, done — no form, no bonus paperwork.

Step 03

The application lands

From your career page, your ATS or a QR code. The candidate portal is created automatically — no account, no password.

Step 04

Conversation and screening

Voice interview plus CV and skills screening, in the person's own language. What comes back is decision-ready: score, hard facts, competencies, every rating with the quote it came from.

Step 05

An active talent pool

Everyone who applies keeps a live profile and a free job and career agent. The profiles stay current — you see when someone with a given background is looking again, and new openings match or notify automatically.

Security & AI ethics

Built for enterprise. Ready for everyone.

A human decides — the AI never does. Identity signals are removed before any evaluation, and every rating hangs on a quote from the conversation.

Data protection & security

GDPR-compliant and EU-hosted on ISO-certified hosting — your data never leaves Europe, and we never train models on it.

AI ethics & human control

Identity signals are stripped before scoring, every score points back to the quote it came from, and no rejection is ever automatic.

Pay per use

Pay for conversations that happen.

No seat licences, no minimum term, no setup fee. One credit balance covers screening, interviews and sourcing — every action shows its price first.

Exact rates are on the pricing page — in the demo we run them against your real volume.

  • CV & skills screening — cents per application
  • A completed voice interview — a few euros, billed by the minute
  • Volume packages bring the price per interview down further

FAQ

What this industry asks.

Do applicants really not need a CV?
Not to start the conversation. Sprad asks for trade certificate, licences and availability directly, in the moment someone applies — the same way 20 % of young tradespeople say they'd prefer to apply anyway. A CV can follow once there's mutual interest, not before.
Isn't a screening call impersonal for a trade built on handshakes?
It's a genuine phone call or WhatsApp exchange, not a form — and it exists so the owner's own time goes to the people worth meeting in person. The trust still gets built face to face; this just gets you to that handshake faster.
Where does our applicants' data actually go?
It stays hosted in the EU under GDPR, and it is never used to train a model. For a business with no HR department, that's usually the real question — not co-determination, which barely applies at this size.
Can it check whether someone can actually do emergency callouts?
Yes — on-call and emergency-duty readiness for SHK roles is one of the standard questions, recorded as a fact with the exact answer attached, not inferred from a CV line.
We lose a third of our apprentices before they finish. Can this help?
A structured conversation before day one surfaces the mismatches — expectations about the work, travel, physical demands — that usually only show up months in. Catching that early is cheaper than another early exit.
How fast can a small business get this running?
Pick the role, approve a handful of questions, done. No career page required — if you don't have one, ours takes minutes to set up.
How does this hold up legally in our sector?
Fewer than one in five trade businesses under 50 employees has a works council — co-determination usually isn't the question here. Data stays hosted in the EU under GDPR Art. 6, nothing is scored automatically, and the call is built to feel like a real conversation.
