The best social media recruiting platform in Europe depends on your roles and your market: Sprad Social Recruiting for frontline hiring with a talent pool you own (ad spend plus 10 %, from €1,000), TalentBait for one role across many channels (from €700 per campaign), HeyJobs for fixed packages, Candidates Attraction for volume hiring in the UK and VONQ for enterprise distribution. Prices below are list prices as of October 2026.
What counts as a social recruiting tool, and what we left out
"Social recruiting tools" covers three very different things, and most lists mix them up. Publishing tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer schedule your own posts. Sourcing tools search profiles on LinkedIn or GitHub. Paid social platforms run job ads on Facebook and Instagram, collect applicants and hand them to you. This list covers the third group, because that is where frontline employers (nurses, drivers, warehouse, trades, hospitality) find people who never open a job board.
In the US and UK, "social recruiting" can also be read as social work staffing. That is why we use social media recruiting throughout this article.
How we chose: five criteria you can check yourself
We compared seven providers that serve European employers. All of them run or distribute paid job ads on social channels. We checked five points, each from public sources:
- Pricing model: fee per role, subscription, price per applicant, or ad spend plus a fee.
- Price transparency: is a number public, or only after a sales call?
- Pre-screening: do you receive every application, or only those meeting your must-have criteria?
- Who owns the contacts: your own talent pool, or the provider's.
- Where it works: which European countries and languages the provider actually serves.
Comparison: seven providers at a glance
| Provider | Based in | Model | Entry price (Oct 2026) | Pre-screening | Contacts |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sprad Social Recruiting | DACH | ad spend plus 10 % | from €1,000 budget, splittable across roles | AI talent agent via WhatsApp, phone, web | your own talent pool |
| TalentBait | Germany (Hamburg) | price per campaign | from €700 per 30 days | pre-filter in 60 seconds | in the platform |
| HeyJobs | Germany (Berlin) | packages | HIRE from €400 per role and month, minimum budget €1,200 | screening questions, AI recruiter "Madita" | belongs to HeyJobs |
| Wonderkind | Netherlands | per goal (traffic, lead, qualified applicant) | from €1,000 per month via a German reseller | AI agents (attract, screen, hand-off to ATS) | your ATS |
| Candidates Attraction | UK | agency, per campaign or month | £347 per 7 days, budget included | by the agency | by agreement |
| VONQ | Netherlands | subscription or price per screened applicant | not published | AI screening, interviews, scoring | your ATS |
| Erika | Czech Republic / Poland | credits, price per candidate | free plan, median $1.82 per candidate | automatic screening | by agreement |
The pricing models are not like for like. A fee per campaign, a subscription and a percentage on top of ad spend each hide a different part of the bill. The next section shows what that means in numbers.
What three months really cost: a worked example
Take one employer with three open frontline roles and a three-month run, the term most providers recommend. We use only published list prices and state what is not included.
| Provider | Calculation | Total over 3 months | Not included |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sprad | €1,000 ad budget per month, split across 3 roles, plus 10 % | €3,300 | nothing else; budget and fee are the whole bill |
| HeyJobs HIRE | €400 per role and month × 3 roles × 3 months | €3,600 (minimum budget €1,200 per role) | depends on the package; REACH and FULL FLEX priced differently |
| TalentBait | €700 per campaign (30 days) × 3 roles × 3 months | from €6,300 | whether further ad budget applies is clarified in the offer |
| Candidates Attraction | £719 per month × 3 plus £8 per day ad budget × 90 days | from £2,877 | UK only, 3-month minimum term |
| Wonderkind (reseller) | from €1,000 per month × 3 | from €3,000 | media costs are not shown transparently |
Read this table as a guide to what you pay for, not as a ranking. TalentBait's price per campaign grows with every role and every 30 days. HeyJobs and Sprad price the role and the budget differently. Sprad and Candidates Attraction are the clearest about the full bill, and Sprad also turns every applicant into a contact in your own pool that you can reuse for the next role.
1. Sprad Social Recruiting: ad spend plus 10 %, with a talent pool you own
Sprad runs your job ads on Instagram and Facebook, where nurses, tradespeople, drivers and other frontline workers spend time every day. An AI talent agent pre-screens every applicant via WhatsApp, phone or web. Every applicant lands in your own talent pool, so you pay for reach once and keep the relationships. Pricing is ad spend plus 10 %, from a €1,000 budget that you can split across roles.
It ranks first here for one concrete reason: the bill is fully visible (budget plus a flat 10 %), and every applicant stays in your own pool for the next role. Google and TikTok are announced, not live. Details are on the Sprad Social Recruiting page.
2. TalentBait: one role, many channels, results per channel
TalentBait, based in Hamburg and Barcelona, sends one job to up to 15 channels and shows which channel produced which application, per location and per role. Its homepage promises results from day one, a 60-second pre-filter and 240+ HR teams as users. It is the right choice if channel comparison matters more to you than owning the pool. Check how the per-campaign price scales when you add roles.
3. HeyJobs: fixed packages and a large candidate pool
HeyJobs from Berlin sells packages: HIRE for focused budgets on single roles, REACH from 10 roles, FULL FLEX for all open roles. The pricing page advertises a start at €400 instead of the earlier €1,200. In the HeyJobs pool of about 4.5 million candidates, however, the contacts belong to HeyJobs. Reviews are mixed on application quality, at OMR 3.5 of 5 and jobboersencheck 4.41 of 7.
4. Wonderkind: social ads and AI agents for larger teams
Wonderkind from the Netherlands runs ads on Meta, TikTok and Snapchat and adds three AI agents that attract, screen and pass candidates into your ATS. The homepage offers a free trial without a credit card. Prices are goal-based and, according to a German reseller, start at €1,000 per month. If you compare offers, ask for media costs separately.
5. Candidates Attraction: UK volume hiring with transparent prices
This UK agency specialises in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing and hospitality roles. It promises local candidates in under 48 hours via Meta and TikTok and claims an average 60 % lower cost per application than job boards, a vendor claim we could not verify. What makes it useful for comparison: it publishes prices, £347 for a 7-day campaign including budget.
6. VONQ: distribution across thousands of channels
VONQ is a Dutch talent attraction platform. Its EQO workflow writes, distributes, attracts, screens, interviews and scores, and is embedded in 85+ ATS. Social is one channel among many. It fits large employers and agencies with their own ATS. No prices are published.
7. Erika: fast blue-collar candidates in Czech Republic and Poland
Erika turns an open role into video ads on Facebook and Instagram and delivers screened candidates the same day. It builds a short profile from the screening, because most blue-collar candidates have no CV. The German homepage quotes €1.86 per candidate, the English site a median of $1.82. Note that this is a price per candidate, not per hire.
Which tool for which situation
| Your situation | Choose | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Frontline roles, you want a pool of your own | Sprad | pre-screening plus contacts that stay with you |
| You want to compare many channels per role | TalentBait | one job, up to 15 channels, report per channel |
| Many roles, fixed packages | HeyJobs | HIRE, REACH, FULL FLEX |
| Large teams with an ATS, several markets | Wonderkind or VONQ | agents and distribution, integrated into the ATS |
| Volume hiring in the UK | Candidates Attraction | published campaign prices |
| Warehouse or production in Czech Republic or Poland | Erika | low price per candidate, free plan |
One more point before you start: advertising a job on Meta falls under the special ad category "Employment". According to Meta, restrictions on targeting apply to the US, Canada and parts of Europe. Check the current scope in Ads Manager, because it affects what any of these providers can promise. For the phone and messaging side, see why frontline hiring works by phone and WhatsApp, not email. For logistics employers, the logistics page shows what a campaign looks like.
Seiza (formerly Work4, now part of Adzuna) used to belong on this list. Its former domain showed a "for sale" page on 3 October 2026, so we left it out.
FAQ
What are the best social recruiting tools in Europe?
For paid job ads on Facebook and Instagram with pre-screening: Sprad Social Recruiting, TalentBait, HeyJobs, Wonderkind, Candidates Attraction (UK), VONQ and Erika (Czech Republic, Poland). The right pick depends on pricing model, pool ownership and country.
How much does social media recruiting cost?
List prices range from €700 per 30-day campaign (TalentBait) and €400 per role and month (HeyJobs HIRE) to ad spend plus 10 % from €1,000 (Sprad). Published benchmarks from the US show a median of $13.88 per applicant (Boostpoint, 891 campaigns, 2026); European costs differ by role and country.
Is "social recruiting" the same as social media recruiting?
In German, "Social Recruiting" means recruiting through social networks. In English, "social media recruiting" is the clearer term, as "social recruiting" is sometimes read as social work staffing.
Do these tools work for blue-collar and shift roles?
Yes, they are built for them: nurses, drivers, trades, warehouse and hospitality. Candidates in these roles usually do not search on job boards but scroll Instagram and Facebook on their phone.
Who owns the applicant data?
That depends on the provider. With HeyJobs the candidate pool belongs to HeyJobs. With Sprad every applicant goes into your own talent pool. Ask any provider this question before you sign.
Where Sprad fits
Platforms rent you reach: when you stop paying, the contacts stay behind. Sprad Social Recruiting builds your own talent pool instead.
