Coveto pricing 2026: plans, add-ons and real cost per recruiter

October 7, 2026
By Jürgen Ulbrich

Coveto's published pricing starts at 119 € per month for the Starter (S) plan, rising to 218 € for Large (L) and 340 € for Professional (XL) — all current as of September 2026, according to Coveto's own pricing page. The detail that changes the whole calculation: none of these three tiers are priced per seat. The price depends on how many open jobs and applicants you run through the system, not on how many recruiters are logged in — which makes "cost per recruiter" a different question here than it is for almost any other tool in this category.

At a glance
Best for a low account price instead of per-seat pricing: Coveto L — €218/month for unlimited jobs and applicants, regardless of team size
Best for guided setup support: Coveto onboarding coach — from €1,800 one-time, 30-90 days of hands-on help
Best for active search for candidates who haven't applied: Sprad — free to start, Recruiter Lite €79/seat/month, search across 1B+ profiles
Best for AÜG compliance and payroll for Zeitarbeit: Zvoove — specialised ERP, quote-only pricing

Billing runs monthly, with no annual discount published anywhere on the pricing page. Basic online training is included at every tier, and Coveto offers a 14-day free demo before you commit to a plan.

What the plan price doesn't cover

  • The onboarding coach. Beyond the included self-service training, a dedicated personal onboarding coach — 30 to 90 days of setup, template and integration support — starts at 1,800 €, according to Coveto's own pricing page. That's a real one-time cost most published "from 119 €" headlines don't mention.
  • Outgrowing the Starter plan. S caps out at 10 open jobs and 100 applicants. A professional recruiter or a small agency running several client searches at once will hit that ceiling fast, and the jump to L is a flat 99 € more per month — regardless of whether you exceed the cap by one job or by fifty.
  • No published minimum term. Coveto's pricing page doesn't state a contract length; only the 14-day trial period is explicit. Confirm the commitment before signing, since most German SaaS ATS vendors in this segment run annual contracts even when the price is quoted monthly.
  • CRM and AI features sit above Starter. The "cAIveto" AI assistant, CRM for managing multiple branches, and AI-supported organic multiposting are all gated behind the L plan or higher — Starter is a basic applicant tracker, not the AI-native tool the marketing implies.

What 5 and 15 recruiters really pay

Because Coveto charges per account rather than per seat, cost per recruiter falls as a team grows — the opposite of Bullhorn, Loxo or Sprad's per-seat and per-recruiter models. A team of 5 recruiters that stays under the Starter caps (10 jobs, 100 applicants) pays 119 €/month total, or 23.80 € per recruiter. In practice, a professional Personalvermittler running more than a handful of live searches at once will need L instead: 218 €/month, or 43.60 € per recruiter.

A team of 15 recruiters will almost certainly exceed Starter's caps and needs L or XL for unlimited jobs and applicants. On L, that's 218 €/month total, or just 14.53 € per recruiter — cheaper per head than the 5-recruiter team on the same plan. On XL, with single sign-on and multi-tenancy for a larger organisation, it's 340 €/month, or 22.67 € per recruiter. Add the one-time onboarding coach (from 1,800 €) if the team wants guided setup rather than self-service training.

Is Coveto worth it?

For a mid-sized company or a Personalvermittler whose work is mostly inbound — job postings, applications, and moving candidates through a pipeline — Coveto's volume-based pricing is genuinely competitive once a team is past five or six people, because the price per recruiter keeps falling. OMR Reviews rates it 4.8/5 from 219 reviews (2026), and Capterra Germany lists it as "Preis-Performance-Gewinner 2026."

The catch is what the price doesn't buy: Coveto has no active candidate sourcing outside your own applicant pool, no voice or video interview screening, and — by its own feature pages — no AÜG compliance, disposition or payroll tooling for Zeitarbeit. If your bottleneck is applications you already have, Coveto is worth it. If your bottleneck is finding candidates who haven't applied, it isn't built for that job.

A different way to the same job

Sprad: a seat for those who source, or just credits

ATS + Talent Pool + Sourcing
Price
Free to start (100 credits/month); Recruiter Lite €79, Atlas Recruiter €299 per seat/month (as of October 2026)
Best for
Agencies whose bottleneck is finding candidates, not just managing inbound applications.
Limits
Per seat more expensive than Coveto's account price for pure applicant tracking without active search; a deep search takes a few minutes because AI checks every profile.

Sprad's ATS, CRM, career page and talent pool (which the agency keeps after cancelling) cost nothing for the whole team; only the people who source need a seat. There are two ways to pay. With credits, usage is billed company-wide: the free plan includes 100 credits a month (200 in the first month). A requirement search across more than a billion public profiles costs 2 credits per profile shown, within a budget per run (Quick 50, Normal 100, Deep 300 credits, i.e. up to 25, 50 or 150 qualified profiles; a Quick run is about 5 € at the list price of 0.10 € per credit). A CV check is 2 credits, a 5-minute voice interview 30. Or a flat rate without credits: Recruiter Lite at 79 € per seat and month, Atlas Recruiter at 299 € with unlimited searches (fair use), deep search and one automated LinkedIn and mailbox account included.

For a team of 5 recruiters who all source, Recruiter Lite comes to 395 €/month (4,740 €/year); for 15, it's 1,185 €/month (14,220 €/year) — before credits for deep search or contact data. That is more than Coveto's L plan (218 €/month, any team size) if all you need is an inbound tracker, and in line with other seat-based sourcing tools. The difference is what's inside the price: Coveto has no path to candidates who haven't already applied.

In the open PeopleSearchBench (119 real search tasks), Sprad's sourcing tool Atlas ranks first in recruiting and second overall out of five, well ahead of Juicebox, which published 45.8; Lessie, the publisher of the benchmark, leads overall at 65.2. This is our own re-measurement with identical prompts and a stricter grader, so the overall placement is converted to the published scale (October 2026). An own test in August 2026 across three roles pointed the same way (38% of the matches vs. 9% for the next-best system).

What sets Atlas apart from keyword-based tools:

  • Real AI check: every profile is evaluated individually against your requirements, with a reason per criterion; it also finds people whose profile is poorly maintained.
  • One search, many sources: LinkedIn, XING, GitHub and your own talent pool; Deep Context search finds people by company context, for example a CFO who led a merger.
  • Outreach in one inbox: LinkedIn (including InMail) and email, automated with follow-ups and AI templates; the whole conversation per talent in one place.
  • Networks and data: upload your own LinkedIn network, let in-house teams share theirs; the talent network stays free after cancelling, all data can be exported; hosting in the EU.

How to tell real AI search from keyword search: if results appear instantly, it is almost always a (semantic) keyword search. A tool that evaluates every profile with AI needs a few minutes for a deep search. Atlas offers both: Quick Search returns first results in about 3 seconds, the deep search takes a few minutes.

For agencies that need both inbound tracking and outbound search in one workspace, that gap is the deciding factor, not the seat fee.

Perbility (Helix) is a broader HR suite — personnel files, time tracking, learning management and performance reviews alongside a basic ATS module — built for mid-to-large companies managing their whole employee lifecycle, not specifically for recruiting agencies. It publishes no price; you get a quote after a demo call. Zvoove is the opposite specialisation: a Zeitarbeit-focused ERP with deep AÜG compliance, disposition and payroll — everything Coveto explicitly lacks for staffing firms — also without a public price (third-party estimates put it at 500-2,000+ €/month depending on modules).

FAQ

How much does Coveto cost per month?

From 119 € for Starter (10 jobs, 100 applicants), 218 € for Large (unlimited), and 340 € for Professional, as of September 2026. Prices are per account, not per recruiter seat.

Is there a free trial for Coveto?

Yes — a 14-day free demo, according to Coveto's pricing page. There's no indication of a free tier beyond the trial period.

How much does the Coveto onboarding coach cost?

A dedicated onboarding coach, covering 30 to 90 days of setup and configuration support, starts at 1,800 €, on top of the monthly plan price.

Is Coveto suitable for Zeitarbeit or staffing agencies?

Not according to its own feature pages: Coveto has no AÜG compliance, disposition or payroll module. Zeitarbeitsfirmen typically need a specialised ERP like Zvoove instead.

What's the cheapest way to get an ATS if I don't need active sourcing?

Coveto's Large plan at 218 €/month for an entire account is hard to beat on price alone once a team exceeds five or six recruiters — but it only covers candidates who already applied.

What's the alternative if I also need to search for candidates who haven't applied?

Sprad combines the ATS, an owned talent pool and a search across 1B+ public profiles: free to start with 100 credits a month, Recruiter Lite from 79 € per seat and month, or credits only.

The bigger question behind the price tag

A per-account price only tells half the story if your real bottleneck isn't managing applications but finding candidates in the first place. Sprad is built around agencies that want both: an ATS and a talent pool that stays theirs, searchable alongside more than a billion external profiles, screening and outreach — all in one workspace, free to start with 100 credits a month. See what that looks like for your team at sprad.io/industry/recruitment-agencies.
