LinkedIn Recruiter pricing 2026: plans, add-ons and real cost per recruiter

September 27, 2026
By Jürgen Ulbrich

LinkedIn Recruiter Lite starts at $140 per seat per month (about €129) on a mandatory one-year contract, while Recruiter Professional Services (the full "Corporate" tier) has no published price at all — third-party estimates put it at $750-1,250 a month, and 2026 renewal invoices reportedly jumped around 15%, according to Leonar's 2026 renewal analysis. Both figures are current as of September 2026.

LinkedIn Recruiter's plans, in full

LinkedIn sells three tiers. Only the entry tier has a public, self-serve price; everything above it goes through a sales conversation.

PlanPriceContractWhat's included
Recruiter Lite$140/seat/mo (annual), self-serve up to 5 seats1 year, mandatory3rd-degree network access, ~20 filters, 30 InMails/month, project folders
Recruiter Professional (RPS / Corporate)No public price; third-party estimates $750-1,250/moSales-negotiated, typically 1 year+Full data access, unlimited InMails, ATS integration, AI Recruiter agent (since 2024)
Recruiter TeamCustom quoteIndividualMultiple seats, team collaboration, dedicated support

Lite is the only tier you can actually buy online, and only up to five licenses — past that, or for any Professional/Corporate seat, you talk to LinkedIn sales. According to LinkedIn's own Help Center, Corporate pricing has never been published; every third-party number, including the ranges above, comes from buyer reports rather than a list price.

What the plan price doesn't cover

  • The switch to sales past 5 seats. A sixth Lite license doesn't exist — the moment an agency grows past five recruiters, it's negotiating a Corporate contract with no visible price anchor.
  • No real candidate data export. Neither tier lets you export a CSV of the people you've sourced. Project folders and notes stay tied to the individual recruiter's LinkedIn login — cancel the seat, and a recruiter effectively starts from zero.
  • External email verification. Lite gives you no candidate email at all. RPS surfaces a LinkedIn-hosted address in some cases, but it isn't built for outreach outside LinkedIn's own messaging — most agencies still pay for a separate enrichment tool.
  • The 2026 renewal increase. Corporate invoices reportedly rose about 15% at renewal in 2026, landing at roughly $10,000-$12,960 per seat per year — with single-year, low-utilization accounts hit hardest (source).
  • The annual lock-in itself. Recruiter Lite has no month-to-month self-serve option; cancelling mid-term isn't part of the standard terms.

What 5 and 15 recruiters really pay

A team of 5, on Lite

Five recruiters on Lite comes to 5 × $140 = $700/month, or $8,400/year (about €7,730) — the maximum team size the self-serve tier supports. There's no cheaper way to license five LinkedIn Recruiter seats; the only alternative is fewer seats or a different tool entirely.

A team of 15, on Corporate

At 15 recruiters, Lite is no longer an option — the agency needs Corporate seats, which is where the 2026 renewal numbers apply. At roughly $11,000/seat/year (the midpoint of the reported $10,000-$12,960 range), 15 seats land around $165,000/year (about €152,000), before any negotiated discount for volume. That figure comes entirely from buyer-reported renewal data, since LinkedIn itself publishes nothing at this tier.

Is LinkedIn Recruiter worth it?

For a solo recruiter or a small team working standard corporate roles, LinkedIn Recruiter's 900M+ profile network is hard to beat for reach — G2 reviewers rate it 4.5/5 across 420 reviews and consistently praise how well it surfaces relevant candidates. The same reviewers just as consistently flag the cost: "expensive for smaller teams; ROI unclear under 5 seats" is a recurring theme, and InMail response rates are reported to drop as a recruiter's outreach pool becomes saturated over time.

For an agency scaling past five recruiters, the maths gets harder to defend. There's no published price to negotiate against, the 2026 renewal increase hit exactly the accounts LinkedIn can raise without losing them (single-year, lower-seat-count contracts), and every candidate found still lives inside LinkedIn's own network — not in a pool the agency can take with it. A cheaper way to the same job

Sprad: one flat seat fee, then pay only for what happens

Sprad charges 59 € per recruiter per month for the ATS and the agency's own talent pool — no annual contract required, no cap on seats. On top, searches, outreach and interviews run on credits (roughly 6-8 cents each), and every account gets 200 free credits a month with no credit card. A profile that gets screened out costs nothing at all. Unlike LinkedIn Recruiter, the search isn't limited to LinkedIn's own network: Sprad's people search reads full profiles against your requirement description across more than a billion public profiles plus the agency's own talent pool, in the same search. In a published benchmark run across three real roles, Atlas (Sprad's search) surfaced 38% of all matching candidates found across every tool tested, against 9% for the best-performing competitor — see the full method at sprad.io/sourcing-benchmark.

For a 5-recruiter team, that's 295 €/month as a base (3,540 €/year) before usage — already below LinkedIn Lite's $8,400/year, without the annual lock-in. For 15 recruiters, the base is 885 €/month (10,620 €/year), a fraction of the $165,000/year a Corporate renewal now costs. See the full calculator at sprad.io/industry/recruitment-agencies.

Two more options worth a look

hireEZ publishes a $494/month solo-recruiter price on its own pricing page — team and enterprise pricing is custom, with a median annual deal around $13,000 according to Vendr's transaction data. It's strong for GitHub-heavy tech sourcing but weaker outside engineering. SeekOut doesn't publish self-serve pricing at all; Vendr's buyer data puts a 10-seat deployment at $45,000-$90,000/year, aimed squarely at mid-market and enterprise teams with diversity-sourcing needs rather than small agencies. FAQ

How much does LinkedIn Recruiter cost per month?

Recruiter Lite is $140/seat/month billed annually (as of September 2026), self-serve for up to 5 seats. Recruiter Professional/Corporate has no published price; third-party estimates range from $750-1,250/month, and 2026 renewals reportedly landed at $10,000-$12,960/seat/year.

Is there a free trial for LinkedIn Recruiter?

LinkedIn doesn't publish a self-serve free trial for Recruiter. Access starts with a purchase (Lite) or a sales conversation (Professional/Corporate).

Can you cancel LinkedIn Recruiter mid-contract?

Recruiter Lite runs on a mandatory annual term with no built-in month-to-month cancellation. Corporate contracts are negotiated individually.

Why did LinkedIn Recruiter get more expensive in 2026?

Corporate renewal invoices reportedly rose about 15% in 2026, with single-year and lower-seat-count accounts seeing the full increase and some legacy-priced accounts seeing additional corrections (source).

What's the cheapest real alternative to LinkedIn Recruiter?

Sprad's 59 €/month base plus pay-per-use credits usually ends up far cheaper for agencies of any size, because there's no annual lock-in and no cost for candidates who get screened out.

Does LinkedIn Recruiter work well for agencies?

It works, but LinkedIn's own terms restrict bulk operations and scraping-style workflows, and reviewers note that agencies doing volume recruiting often need Professional/Corporate access to get ATS integration and unlimited InMails — the tier without a public price.

The bigger question behind the price tag

Every LinkedIn Recruiter seat rents access to LinkedIn's network for as long as the contract runs — cancel it, and the candidate folders stay locked to individual logins, not to the agency. Sprad's pricing is built around the opposite idea: a search across LinkedIn-scale data plus your own pool, in one workspace that stays yours after you stop paying for it.
