More about Social recruiting software & agencies

Social recruiting software places your job ads on Instagram and Facebook (and increasingly TikTok), collects applications and pre-screens them, so that you reach people who are not browsing job boards. Of the ten providers compared here, only Sprad combines ad buying, AI pre-qualification and a talent pool you own; the others are packages, agencies or pure distribution tools. Prices below are as of October 2026 and come from the providers' own pages unless marked otherwise.

At a glance
Best for frontline roles and a pool you keep: Sprad Social Recruiting: ad budget plus 10 %, AI pre-qualification, applicants stay in your own pool
Best for a managed package with a big network: HeyJobs: HIRE from €400 per job and month, but the pool belongs to HeyJobs
Best for one ad on many channels with a clear price: TalentBait: from €700 per 30-day campaign
Best for ads plus automatic screening into your ATS: Wonderkind: three AI agents, billed per qualified applicant, no public price list
Best for US cost benchmarks for frontline roles: Boostpoint: median $13.88 per applicant across 891 campaigns, from $750 per month
As of 3 October 2026. Listed prices, individual quotes can differ.

What is social recruiting software?

Social recruiting software lets employers run paid job ads on social networks and manage what follows: the application, the pre-screening and the handover to a recruiter or ATS. The target group is passive and semi-active job seekers, which is why the approach works best for frontline and shift roles such as nursing, trades, logistics, hospitality and driving, where people scroll Instagram and Facebook far more often than they search a job board.

Three things are often mixed up in the search results, and the difference matters for your decision. Social sourcing tools such as extension-based candidate importers help recruiters find people on LinkedIn or GitHub, which is a different job. Agencies sell the service of running campaigns for you, usually at a fixed price per position. Social recruiting software and platforms sell the ads and the funnel behind them. This page covers the last two, because that is what the search for social recruiting software is usually about when the roles are frontline roles.

Typical funnel: a job becomes an ad with text and image, the ad leads to a short application, an AI or a form pre-screens the applicant, and qualified applicants are passed on. The differences between providers sit in three places: who pays for the media and how it is billed, how much of the screening is automated, and what happens to the applicant data once the contract ends. For the phone and chat side of that funnel, see our article on frontline recruiting by phone and WhatsApp.

How we compared: seven criteria

  • Pricing model and transparency: published prices, fee versus media spend, minimum budget, minimum term.
  • Channels: Instagram and Facebook, TikTok, Google, WhatsApp. Only what is live counts.
  • Pre-qualification: screening questions, chat or voice, how much is automated.
  • Applicant ownership: do the contacts stay with you after the contract ends, or with the platform.
  • Handover: ATS integrations and exports.
  • Evidence: independent reviews (G2, Capterra, OMR, jobboersencheck) with sample size, not only provider claims.
  • Fit for DACH and the EU: German-language support, GDPR, data processing agreement, server location.

The ten providers in detail

1. Sprad Social Recruiting: ad budget plus 10 % and an applicant pool you keep

sprad.io

Sprad Social Recruiting
Instagram and Facebook job ads with an AI Talent Agent
Price
Ad budget plus 10 %, from a €1,000 budget, splittable across roles (Sprad, October 2026)
Best for
Frontline and shift roles (nursing, trades, logistics, drivers) where you want pre-qualified applicants and a talent pool you own.
Limits
Instagram and Facebook today, Google and TikTok follow. Budget recommendations are guidance, not a guarantee of applicants. No published campaign benchmarks yet.
Rating
No reliable independent reviews found
German
✓

Sprad runs your job ads on Instagram and Facebook, where nurses, tradespeople, drivers and other frontline workers spend time every day. An AI Talent Agent pre-screens every applicant via WhatsApp, phone or web, around the clock. Every applicant lands in your own talent pool, so the reach you paid for once turns into contacts you can reuse instead of contacts that stay on a platform.

Why first place: the pricing logic is the simplest in this list (your ad budget plus 10 %, from €1,000, spread across several roles) and it is the only model here that combines ad buying, pre-qualification and an employer-owned pool in one tool. The honest caveat: the product is young, so there are no public campaign benchmarks yet, and Google and TikTok are announced, not live. Learn more on the Sprad Social Recruiting page or see how the talent pool works.

2. HeyJobs: the best-known package offer in Germany

heyjobs.co
HeyJobs website
Screenshot of heyjobs.co, retrieved on 3 October 2026
HeyJobs
Performance recruiting platform from Berlin
Price
HIRE from €400 per job and month (minimum budget €1,200); REACH under €150 per job from 10 positions (provider's pricing page, as of October 2026)
Best for
Employers across many industries that want a managed package with a large existing candidate network and personal support.
Limits
Packages and minimum budgets instead of flexible ad spend. The 4.5 million candidate pool belongs to HeyJobs. Application quality is the weak point in employer reviews.
Rating
OMR Reviews 3.5/5 (3 reviews); jobboersencheck 5.56/7 (433 detailed reviews)
German
✓

HeyJobs is the largest name in the DACH region. Its HIRE package focuses the budget on one position, REACH spreads it algorithmically across ten or more roles, and the provider recommends a three-month term so the algorithm can optimise. Since 25 August 2026 it also offers Madita, an AI interviewer for first conversations.

Employer reviews praise support and onboarding. The recurring criticism is application quality (4.41 of 7 at jobboersencheck, the lowest of all categories), rigid packages and ghosting after the first contact. Because the candidate pool is owned by HeyJobs, ending the contract also ends your access to that reach.

3. TalentBait: one ad, up to 15 channels

talentbait.de
TalentBait website

TalentBait
Recruiting performance platform from Hamburg
Price
From €700 per campaign for 30 days, no subscription (provider's website, as of October 2026)
Best for
Employers that want one job ad pushed to many channels (Instagram, TikTok, Google, WhatsApp) with a single report per location and role.
Limits
Per-campaign pricing adds up with many roles. Ads, funnel and applicants run inside the provider's platform.
Rating
No reliable independent reviews found
German
✓

TalentBait turns one job ad into campaigns on up to 15 channels and shows which channel produced which application, per location and per role. Applicants complete a 60-second application followed by AI screening. According to the provider, more than 240 HR teams use it, and it states GDPR compliance, a data processing agreement and servers in the EU on its start page.

It publishes a starting price, which is rare in this market, and runs a strong content programme with benchmarks and comparisons. Check how the multi-channel budget is split and who owns applicant data after the term ends.

4. Wonderkind: the closest model neighbour

wonderkind.com
Wonderkind website
Screenshot of wonderkind.com, retrieved on 3 October 2026
Wonderkind
AI agents for ads, screening and ATS handover (Netherlands)
Price
No public price list; Deliver uses a fixed price per qualified applicant. A German reseller quotes from €150 for seven days of traffic (third-party source, as of October 2026)
Best for
Employers that want ads on Meta, TikTok and Snapchat, automatic pre-screening and a direct handover into their ATS.
Limits
Media costs are not transparent, only a few public reviews, no employer-owned talent pool as a core product.
Rating
G2 4.5/5 (4 reviews)

Wonderkind is the Dutch provider whose model comes closest to Sprad: three AI agents run the ads, pre-screen applicants and hand them to the ATS, with more than 100 ATS integrations according to the provider. Billing per qualified applicant (Deliver) ties the cost to the result.

The trade-off is transparency. There is no public price list and the split between media spend and fee is unclear, so ask for it in writing. G2 reviews are positive but rest on only four ratings.

5. Boostpoint: US benchmark data for frontline roles

boostpoint.com
Boostpoint website
Screenshot of boostpoint.com, retrieved on 3 October 2026
Boostpoint
Social media job advertising software for frontline hiring (USA)
Price
From $750 per month per job category plus ad spend (as of October 2026)
Best for
US employers hiring nurses, drivers, trades or production staff that want Facebook and Instagram ads with a one-minute mobile application.
Limits
Built for the US market, English only, no DACH data protection set-up described.
Rating
No reliable independent reviews found
German
–

Boostpoint turns an open job into a Facebook and Instagram ad, collects a one-minute mobile application with knockout questions, texts the applicant back and delivers qualified people into the ATS. Its 2026 benchmark report is the most useful public cost data in the market: a median of $13.88 per applicant across 891 campaigns, ranging from $2.14 for warehouse roles to $74.62 for therapy roles.

The figures describe the US, not Germany, so use them as an order of magnitude and not as a promise for your region.

6. CareerArc: automatic posting across social channels

careerarc.com
CareerArc website
Screenshot of careerarc.com, retrieved on 3 October 2026
CareerArc
Social job distribution and employer brand (USA)
Price
Plans reported at $196 and $959 per month, enterprise on request (research, as of October 2026, please confirm with the provider)
Best for
Larger US employers that want to post jobs automatically to LinkedIn, Facebook, X and Instagram and build a pipeline of their own.
Limits
Focus on distribution and employer brand rather than pre-qualification; US-centred.
Rating
Listed on Capterra
German
–

CareerArc posts jobs automatically to LinkedIn, Facebook, X and Instagram and positions itself around owning visibility instead of renting it. That is close to Sprad's pool idea, but the product centres on distribution and employer branding, not on screening applicants for you. A 30-day free trial is advertised.

7. Social Natives: fixed price and a written interview commitment

socialnatives.de
Social Natives website
Screenshot of socialnatives.de, retrieved on 3 October 2026
Social Natives
Recruiting agency for the industrial mid-market
Price
€5,000 fixed price per position, €3,000 for the second position (provider's website, as of October 2026)
Best for
Mid-sized industrial and trades companies that want to outsource a few hard-to-fill roles with a written interview commitment.
Limits
€5,000 per position adds up across many roles. Unclear whether ad budget is included; key figures come from the provider.
Rating
Provider figures only: 4.9 from 200+ reviews
German
✓

Social Natives sells a service, not software: a fixed price per position with at least five qualified interviews as a written commitment. According to the provider it works for more than 400 customers. For a few critical roles that is easy to budget. For ten or more roles per year the price per position becomes the main argument against it.

8. Fachkräfte-Recruiting: pay per qualified lead

fachkraefterecruiting.com
Fachkräfte-Recruiting website
Screenshot of fachkraefterecruiting.com, retrieved on 3 October 2026
Fachkräfte-Recruiting
Social recruiting unit of dot-gruppe, Berlin
Price
Fee per qualified lead (not published) plus €1,500 to €5,000 ad budget per month, video included (provider's website, as of October 2026)
Best for
Trades, construction and care employers that want to pay for qualified leads rather than for reach.
Limits
Lead fee not published, so total cost is hard to compare. No independent review base found.
Rating
No reliable independent reviews found
German
✓

The brand belongs to the Berlin agency group dot-gruppe and promises that you pay only for qualified applications. Video production is included, the ad budget comes on top. Because the lead fee is not public, ask for a worked example with your roles and region before comparing it with a budget-plus-10 % model.

9. jobtastic: agency with WhatsApp applications

jobtastic
Social media recruiting agency from Coesfeld
Price
No published prices; free demo and individual quote (provider's website, as of October 2026)
Best for
Small and mid-sized employers in trades, care and logistics that want an agency to run Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn ads with WhatsApp applications.
Limits
No published prices, campaign control sits with the agency, ownership of applicant data after the term is unclear.
Rating
No reliable independent reviews found
German
✓

jobtastic has worked since 2018 and runs ads, landing pages in the employer's design and a dashboard from one hand. Applications can come in via WhatsApp, which lowers the barrier for candidates without a CV at hand. We found no review page with a verifiable sample, so ask for references from your own industry.

10. talentsconnect: chat-based pre-qualification

talentsconnect
HR tech from Cologne: HyR platform, JobShop and ChatAgent
Price
No published prices; quotes after consultation (as of October 2026)
Best for
Employers that already buy their reach elsewhere and want AI pre-qualification via WhatsApp and web chat plus a modern career site.
Limits
Ad buying is not the core offering; no published prices.
Rating
OMR 4.6/5 (106 reviews)
German
✓

talentsconnect is closer to a pre-qualification and career site tool than to an ad provider. The ChatAgent qualifies applicants via WhatsApp and web chat, and the JobShop career site offers a short application. It scores 4.6 of 5 on OMR from 106 reviews across its products, which makes it one of the better-documented names here.

DACH and EU checks before you sign

GDPR and data processing agreement. The provider processes applicant data on your behalf, so you need a data processing agreement. Ask where the servers are, how long applicants are stored and how deletion works. One provider here states an EU server location and a data processing agreement publicly; for the others, ask.

Meta's job ad category. Meta classifies job ads as a special ad category called Employment. In the US and Canada this restricts targeting by age, gender and ZIP code; the exact scope for the EU changes over time, so check Meta's current help pages before you plan targeting. In Germany the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG) applies to job ads as well, so wording and targeting must not discriminate.

WhatsApp and consent. Contacting applicants over WhatsApp is fine when they have started the conversation or consented. Contacting candidates who did not apply is a different question, see our guide on contacting candidates via WhatsApp.

AI screening and the EU AI Act. Systems that screen or rank applicants count as high-risk applications under the EU AI Act. Ask providers how a human stays in the decision and how they document it.

Applicant ownership after the contract. This is the most overlooked point. Ask in writing whether you can export every applicant and keep contacting people who agreed to it. A pool that belongs to the platform ends with your contract.

Checklist before you decide

  • Is the total price clear: fee, media spend, minimum budget, minimum term?
  • Which channels are live today, which are only announced?
  • How is an applicant pre-screened, and who sees the answers?
  • Do applicants stay in your pool, and can you export them?
  • Is there a data processing agreement and an EU server location?
  • Are there independent reviews with a sample size, and references from your industry?
  • How do you leave: notice period, data export, deletion?

FAQ

What does social recruiting software cost?

Published entry prices range from about €400 per job and month (HeyJobs HIRE) and €700 per 30-day campaign (TalentBait) to €5,000 per position at an agency (Social Natives). Sprad charges your ad budget plus 10 %, from a €1,000 budget. Many providers publish no price at all. Prices as of October 2026.

Is social recruiting worth it for frontline roles?

It is a strong fit when your candidates are on Instagram and Facebook more than on job boards. Public US data from Boostpoint shows a median of $13.88 per applicant across 891 campaigns in 2026, with large differences by role. Treat it as an order of magnitude and test with a small budget in your own region.

What is the difference between social recruiting software and a social recruiting agency?

Software and platforms sell the ads and the funnel, usually with your own budget. Agencies run the campaigns for you, often at a fixed price per position. Software scales better across many roles, agencies suit a few hard-to-fill roles.

Which channels do these tools use?

Instagram and Facebook are standard. TikTok, Snapchat, Google and WhatsApp depend on the provider. Sprad runs Instagram and Facebook today, with Google and TikTok to follow.

Who owns the applicant data?

That differs. HeyJobs' candidate pool belongs to HeyJobs. At Sprad every applicant lands in the employer's own talent pool. For agencies, ask what happens to the data after the term.
